Jiwaka Governor praises Mul

A JIWAKA man has built a school starting with elementary school, then to Primary and Secondary and now venturing into partnership with a university to have its campus on his school is a testament of hard work and dedication.

During the launching of the Philippines Christian University-Papua New Guinea Campus (PCU-PNG) Governor for Jiwaka Honorable Simon Kaiwi praised founder and director of Waigani Christian College (WCC) Benjamin Mul for being dedicated man with a vision.

“Waigani Christian College was built on motivation, hard work, and willingness of one man starting from a small beginning to where we are today, we need to thank that the director and founder Mr Mul.

“On behalf of the people of  Jiwaka, you as a Jiwaka man has taken the initiative to do this and as the  proud Governor of your province I thank you wholeheartedly. I thank you for doing a worthwhile course for the progress and development of our human resources in Papua New Guinea,” said Governor Kaiwi.

Governor Kaiwi stressed that the country is still dragging behind on many areas of development, particularly education.

“This is a day to be proud of because Papua New Guinea needs educated population, without education Papua New Guinea will not progress any further.”

“Education is so important for any country to prosper,” said Governor Kaiwi.

Meanwhile, the new campus will open for enrollment in June of this year.
