After a powerful weekend of praise and worship at the Jubilee Reset Gospel Music Concert, South African gospel artist Sinach and her full band will remain in Papua New Guinea to perform at the National Repentance Day Ceremony tomorrow at Sir John Guise Stadium in Port Moresby.

The announcement was made today by Ps. Evangelist Joseph Walters, who said the performance is part of preparing Papua New Guinea spiritually as the nation moves towards its 50th Independence Anniversary.

The gospel festival drew an impressive crowd over the weekend, leaving many who missed the three-day event eager for another chance to experience the worship atmosphere. Organisers say this year’s Repentance Day will be more significant than previous years, as the country reflects on surviving and thriving through half a century of nationhood.

Prime Minister James Marape urged attendees at the concert on Sunday night to also join Tuesday’s national ceremony, which will be officiated by himself alongside senior government leaders.

The official program begins at 7:00 am, with organisers extending an open invitation to all residents of Port Moresby and surrounding communities to attend and mark this important occasion in unity and prayer, as the country looks ahead to its golden jubilee.
