Censorship and PNGNRI sign deal

A CONSULTANCY Service Agreement Signing Ceremony was held today, 25th November, at the Office of Censorship Conference Room between the Office of Censorship and the PNG National Research Institute.

 Chief Censor, Mr. Jim Abani and NRI Director, Dr Osborne Sanida signed the Agreement and was witnessed by a few Staff and Management of the Office of Censorship including NRI, Mr Kenny Rapea, Deputy Director, Corporate Services. Consultancy Services Agreement for a Terms of Reference between the two organisations emanates from an external review process of the Narrative Report on the Research on Media and Sexual Content, a research that was undertaken by the Office of Censorship Research Section in 2020.

Office of Censorship engages the services of PNG National Research Institute to provide the finishing touches to the draft report.

As a government funded project, the key findings indicated in this report will be presented in a proposed stakeholder consultative workshop schedule for March, 2023.
