Father of eight and founder of Port Moresby household brand Comfort Taxi Services, Nathan Milyo officially opened his new establishment, the S&J Hotel on Saturday Feb 13, 2021.
Present to officiate at the opening ceremony was Governor for NCD Powes Parkop who also joined in the ribbon cutting of the hotel. Other notable invited guests present were Governor for SHP William Powi, Minister for Labor & Industrial Relations and Lagaip- Porgera MP, Tomait Kapili.
Nathan was joined by his family, invited friends, associates and tribesmen from his Laiagam area as well as fellow members of his local church.
The hotel, situated on Henao Drive, Gordon, was the end result of a five-year project which began in 2015. It boasts five storeys of 33 serviced rooms, a cafe, airport shuttles and an entertainment & pool area.
In the true sense of “supporting local talent”, the hotel’s main building project was managed and engineered from start to finish by skilled Papua New Guinean architects, engineers and project managers.
