I am pleased to announce the appointment of the new and long awaited Madang Provincial Health Authority Board. The Madang Provincial Executive Council had initiated the appointment process for more than two years which I now thank the National Executive Council to have finally approved and endorsed the appointment of the Board effective as of 10th July 2024 and duly gazetted as of 22nd August 2024 gazettal number NG690.
I also thank the Minister for Health and HIV, Hon Dr Lino Tom MP, for sponsoring the appointment of the Board at his level with his hardworking Secretary and all his staff to help facilitate for the appointment by the NEC.
More importantly, I thank my Acting Chief Executive Officer of Madang Provincial Health Authority, Dr Sammy Thomas Kambuka, and all the hard working medical doctors, nurses and medical officers and staff all throughout Madang for your continued patience and services to the people of greater Madang when Madang had been going through so much challenges without PHA Board for quite a long time.
We will now proceed to have the new Madang Provincial Health Authority Board members inducted, sworn in and assume office as soon as possible and commence work to stabilize and restore the management and administration of health care services back to our people in Madang.

Madang Provincial Health Authority Board to provide effective, quality and affordable health care services to our people.
