Ban tax evading logging companies, says NGO

A non-government organisation (NGO), Act Now! is calling on the government through the Papua New Guinea Forest Authority (PNGFA) to ban tax evading logging companies.

This follows recent announcement by the head of the Internal Revenue Commission Sam Koim to audit logging companies and take punitive actions on them for not complying with the country’s taxation requirements.
