BSP Proud Anchor Partner of 2024 Commonwealth Business Forum Samoa

BSP SAMOA | BSP Financial Group Ltd (BSP), the leading financial institution in the South Pacific, is proud to be the Anchor Partner for the Commonwealth Business Forum (CBF) at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) that will be hosted in Apia, Samoa in October, 2024.

CHOGM is a biennial event bringing together leaders from the 56 Commonwealth nations to discuss global issues and collaborate on solutions. The theme for the 27th CHOGM is “One Resilient Common Future: Transforming our Common Wealth”. This event will be held from 21st to 26th October.

BSP has committed a sponsorship of GBP £350,000 (approximately WST $1,250,000) to support the Commonwealth Business Forum.

This strategic partnership represents a significant step towards advancing trade, investment and economic development across the 56 independent and equal countries that form “the Commonwealth”. The CBF, led by the Samoa Chamber of Commerce, will occur from 23rd to 24th October alongside other events.

BSP is proud to take a leading role to leverage its banking expertise and regional reach to help shape the agenda topics at the CBF. BSP will guide discussions on two key topics: Access to Finance and the Scalability of Finance and, SMEs in Economic Growth.

BSP will provide an additional sponsorship of WST $1 million towards available banking services during CHOGM.
