THE Constitutional and Law Reform Commission (CLRC) launched its official refurbished website to effectively carry out its core mandates, through the utilization of Information and Communication Technologies.
The CLRC website was launched by CLRC Chairman and Okapa MP Hon. Saki Soloma and CLRC Secretary Dr. Mange Matui, witnessed by the Digitec Website Project Team and the CLRC Staff and Management.
CLRC Chairman Hon. Saki Soloma expressed gratitude towards the hardworking staff of the commission, the website development team and the support of the government.
“We value the support of the government and look forward to more similar aid in the future to assist the commission to effectively review and modify laws by upholding justice to ensure fairness, equality and progress for all citizens”, said Hon. Saki.
CLRC Secretary Dr. Mange Matui during the launching remarked that the re-introduced digital platform will prompt more collaboration within the law reform agenda, making it a conducive hub for an effective two-way communication.
“This digital platform is vital as it bridges the gap by connecting our fellow stakeholders and citizens directly with the commission, fostering a seamless participation in law reform processes by exerting their views, taking part in CLRC questionnaires, consultations and general inquiries in regards to the law reform agendas”
This anticipated digital platform will link and foster direct engagement with all relevant stakeholders, working committees, Government departments, NGOs and the general public to participate in law reform processes.
Its cruciality maintains the core function of the commission that is to review, provide high-level legal advice and reform laws accordingly to keep pace with PNG’s current day state of affairs.

All these are critical for the commission to meticulously refine and modify current laws within the constitution ensuring they meet the needs of the society, fostering justice, equity and development.
The initial CLRC website was launched back in 2021, however the management had decided to engage The Digitec Website Project Team over the past 6 months to refurbish and restructure the platform to suit the common interest of the people and the commission, promoting transparency and integrity in the work of CLRC.
With the availability of such accomplishment, the public can have direct access to CLRC publications namely Issues papers, Position Papers, Terms of References (TORS), Constitutional Directives, Draft reports, Reviews, Monographs, Corporate Publications, newsletters and other related information at their own convenience.
This virtual platform will provide in-depth understanding of the vision, functions, aspirations of the commission and its importance within the law sector.
