Today, the handover-takeover ceremony of Nipa Kutubu District Authority at district headquarters took place witnessed by Southern Highlands Provincial administration Jerry David, deputy David Kelma, and all Nipa district public servants.
Nipa-Kutubu MP and Minister for Defence, Dr Billy Joseph, expressed gratitude to the outgoing district administrator (DA), John Harisoal.
“Harisoal dedicated five years with formers Robert Kopal, 10 years with Komal, and one and half years with me. He has voluntarily requested retrenchment,” Joseph said.
“Congratulations to incoming DA Camilus Wari from Kapit in Poroma and Kum in Pleto LLG.
“I’ve assigned him the task of collaborating with SHPG to conduct a comprehensive status analysis of all NK public servants, with the directive to retire or remove those underperforming.”
