Education Secretary Dr Uke Kombra has called on parents, students, and the public to immediately report any incidents or attempts to sell examination papers, stressing that such actions are criminal and will be dealt with seriously.

“If there is anyone trying to sell exam papers, I urge every parent and student to report it to your school administration, provincial inspectors, examination supervisors, or the nearest police station,” Dr Kombra said.

“Those involved in selling examination papers will be held accountable for their actions.”

He added that members of the public can assist authorities by providing names, phone numbers, or any information related to individuals attempting to sell or distribute exam papers. “It could be a first, second, or third party just give us the names and details, and we will take the necessary action,” he said.

Dr Kombra assured that all reports would be handled confidentially. “We guarantee your safety. We will not expose your identity, but we will follow up on the information you provide,” he said.

He further urged students to remain honest and focused during the examination period. “Honesty is very important. If you cheat now, that will shape the kind of person you become in life. Work hard, prepare well, and the results will reflect your effort.”

Dr Kombra urged students to avoid distractions and concentrate on their studies, saying that success comes from dedication and integrity.
