Interest paid, Nasfund regional conferences to commence

Over K260 million has been paid to members of National Superannuation Fund Limited (Nasfund) as interest for the Year 2022.

This was confirmed by Acting CEO Rajeev Sharma.

“Following the announcement of the Fund’s 2022 Full Year Results, which included an approved interest crediting rate of 4.3%, our Fund Administrator worked over the weekend to credit all member accounts.

We are pleased to report that this was successfully completed on the weekend, with our systems restored on Sunday evening.

Members can now view their updated balance via our member online portal on the Nasfund website.

This interest payment will be narrated as Interest Earned on Contributions, and is dated 31/12/2022.

Members who need assistance on their balance information can contact us phone 1588 or email help@nasfund.com.pg for assistance.”

In the coming days, the Fund will also embark on our Regional Employer Conferences, to engage with our membership to provide a review of our activities in 2022, as well what to expect this year.

“This will begin with our Port Moresby conference for our employers in NCD, which will take place at the Hilton Hotel tomorrow (Tuesday March 13, 2023).

Our Port Moresby Conference will be a hybrid conference, with 400 employer representatives confirmed to attend.

The Port Moresby conference will also be live-streamed via Zoom, Facebook and LinkedIn.

Employer representatives and members who are unable should register online to join the conference.

Following the Port Moresby Employer Conference, we will meet with our membership in Kokopo on Thursday March 16th, and Lae on Tuesday March 21st.

Our Employer conference in Mt Hagen has been deferred, to early April, due to current restrictions on flights into Mt Hagen.

We look forward to engaging with our membership in the coming days.”
