THE National Banking Corporation (NBC) has undergone a complete rebranding, including the logo.
This was announced and showcased on Thursday 10th of April, 2025, while launching the NBC as one of the commercial banks in the country.
The Bank of Papua New Guinea (BPNG) has certified the National Banking Corporation as a commercial bank.
The BPNG has fully certified and granted the NBC Limited, formerly the People’s Micro Bank, a commercial banking license last year.
The NBC has undergone a complete rebranding, including the logo, and has now been launched as a commercial bank with products tailored to make banking accessible to all Papua New Guineans.
The NBC is now one of three new banks joining TISA and Credit Banks, to become commercial banks.
The event was attended by Prime Minister James Marape, Minister for State-Owned Enterprises, Hon. William Duma, other State Ministers, Members of Parliament, Interim Chairman and Non-Executive Director of NBC Darrel Seeto, Managing Director of Kumul Consolidated Holdings Professor David Kavanamur, BPNG Governor, Elizabeth Genia, Managing Directors and CEOs of SOEs and Managing Directors and CEOs of businesses that are operating in the country.
