FORCERT has signed an agreement with the West New Britain Provincial Administration to help rural communities in the area. This agreement, called a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), will support programs for sustainable development and environmental care.
The MoU will last for two years and will be reviewed each year to check progress and make changes if needed. Provincial Administrator Mr. Leo Mapmani said this partnership is important for helping people in rural areas.
“This agreement helps us work better together on programs for economic growth and protecting the environment,” said Mr. Mapmani.
FORCERT Manager Mr. Cosmas Makamet thanked the provincial government for the partnership. He said FORCERT is committed to helping rural communities improve their lives by balancing environmental and economic needs.
