THE local MP for Goilala, Hon. Casmiro Aia, has been tasked to identify a safe and suitable location for the evicted settlers of Two Mile.

Community leader Sakias Mana says the evicted communities desperately needs security and freedom at this time.

” We plead with you to act swiftly with empathy and allocate a temporary venue or location for our distressed families including our mother’s, daughters, children and elders from the cruel police, and provide them the protection they desperately need at this time,” he said.

He says despite the discrimination against them as non-law-abiding citizens, ” what has happened is in the past, now we seek security and freedom.”

” We know you have been silent since the cruel eviction, your intervention will bring relief to our broken hearts and save our loved ones from further hardship,” he said.

Meanwhile attempts to have the MP to address the issue was unsuccessful.

  1. Thanks Mr Gurina .
But the question is are we not contributors to the Goods and Service Tax that NCD now benefits from.
Our people of Central province have contributed to national building.
So why discriminating them and tasking the member for Goilala to find and relocate his people.
Obviously they are our people but this group of Goilalas are also contributors to the current GST that NCD collects? Back to you to find out from NCD and relevant national leaders .
