THE NCD Provincial Health Authority and Wonkwang University of South Korea have signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly promote the training of health professionals, research and development, medical services, and industrial advancement in health, biomedical sciences and Korean medicine.
The focus of the cooperation is to improve public health and strengthen bilateral relations between the two nations.
Vice President for Academic Affairs at Wonkwang University, Professor Jin-Soo Hwang, signed the three-year MoU with NCD PHA’s Chief Executive Officer Dr Robin Oge.
Wonkwang University and NCD PHA will work in the following areas: Human Resource Development, Medical Research and Technology Cooperation, Healthcare Infrastructure Development, Policy and Institutional Support, and Sports and Youth Exchange.
Dr Oge acknowledged Prof. Jin Soo Hwang and his team for their efforts in partnering with NCD Provincial Health Authority.
“The board and management of NCD PHA are excited to work with Wonkwang University,” said Dr. Oge.
He said the primary goal is to provide better health care services in the National Capital District through partnership and cooperation.
