Hunters’ veteran determined to maintain Hunters squad

By FELISHA KAPIPI

HUNTERS’ veteran Jordan Pat is glad to be back at the Hunters camp for this year’s season for the Queensland Cup.

Despite being in and out of the Hunters Squad, he is determined to perform to the best of his ability and remain in the final squad.

“The training and trial have been so good so far with new faces and a new coach, but we have learnt a lot of new things,” Pat said.

Pat said he improved a lot on his defense and attack skills and he was looking forward for the second trial match with Queensland Capras this Saturday in Australia.

“It will be a good challenge as we have a lot of new players, however, we have been helping each other during trainings and lookinf forward to give our best.

“The last trial match with Ipswich has been a tough one but we played according to our game plans and achieved what we trained hard for,” he said.

With the inclusion of Wartovo and Maki in the coaching staff, it’s a boost for the team and the Hunters squad positively welcomed them.
