Another proud son of Kagua Erave, Kimbe based Principal lawyer of Mokae and Associate Lawyers has today contributed K1,000 through the KEDDA Deputy CEO, Mr Jethro Onasu, to assist security personnel currently deployed on the ground in Kagua Central.
Mr Mokae made this generous contribution on behalf of his law practice and his family, with the clear intention of supporting the restoration of peace, law, and order in Kagua Central at this critical time.
His support reflects responsible leadership and a genuine concern for the safety of lives, properties, and public institutions.
He has also called on other elites, professionals, and business men and women of Kagua Erave, both within the district and abroad, to stand with the District Administration by providing logistical and resource support to enable security forces to effectively carry out their duties.
This contribution comes at a very difficult time when KEDDA funds cannot be accessed, due to the ongoing administrative tussle between the two KEDDA CEOs.
At such a moment, Mr Mokae’s action sends a strong message: this is a time for unity, leadership, and sacrifice not infighting.
Our district must come before personal interests, ego, or vendetta.
The people of Kagua Erave deserve peace, stability, and functioning leadership.
Arguments over who should be the CEO or Section 32 Officer must not paralyze service delivery nor compromise public safety.
Importantly, Mr Mokae has echoed calls for peace and restraint, urging all communities and tribes to lay down arms, avoid further provocation, and allow law enforcement agencies to do their work.
Violence will only deepen wounds and delay justice, while peace and cooperation will pave the way for reconciliation and lasting solutions.
The message is clear: peace is a collective responsibility.
Now is the time for calm leadership, respect for the rule of law, and unity of purpose so that Kagua Central and the wider Kagua Erave District can move forward together in peace.
