“When you sit in the room with people like this, your horizons expand. You begin to think, if that person can do it, and this is how they did it, then I can do it too.
“One of the most important things anyone can have is someone who inspires them to thing bigger, because that’s what ultimately shapes the direction of their life,” Mr Bustin said.
Senisim PNG National Coordinator Phillie Marai said 50 years from now must change ourselves, transform our mindset to change this country.
Alot of people including our leaders lack good values have resulted in corruption, law and order issues, youths’ unemployment, students lack good discipline at homes to schools amongst others.
“It is also about the environment you place yourself in and if you’re in a room full of people who all have a sense of purpose to serve our country and that is attending the conference.
“Our lined-up speaker are leaders who have broken barriers in their fields and in their leadership roles and it is not only about listening to the speakers but also about connecting, networking, and learning from them, as well as from everyone else who attends the event,” Mrs Marai said.
The conference is one of the major annual fundraising events for Tribal Foundation raising funds to combat Sorcery Accusation Related Violence (SARV) and Gender Based Violence (GBV), work that has saved lives, informed national legislation, and helped bring perpetrators to justice.
“Beyond leadership development, Live2Lead PNG also serves a vital social purpose to support the work of Tribal Foundation seeking justice for victims of sorcery violence as well as its partnership with Department of Education to deliver values and leadership training to
