MEMBER for Nakanai, Francis Galia Maneke, has officially opened a new double classroom at Ulu Adventist Early Childhood School, marking a significant development in the region’s educational infrastructure.
The new classroom is expected to enhance the learning environment for young children, providing them with improved facilities that foster early childhood education.
The classroom project was built in line with the Nakanai District Development Authority Housing scheme project in partnership with schools and hospitals as well as churches in the district.
The DDA supplies roofing irons and walling to the people for free.
During the opening ceremony, Maneke expressed his commitment to advancing educational opportunities within the district and underscored the importance of early childhood education in laying a strong foundation for future learning.
He acknowledged the efforts of the local community, educators, and stakeholders who contributed to the project’s realization.
The addition of this classroom will allow for increased enrollment and more effective teaching, enabling the school to accommodate a growing number of students.
Maneke’s initiative reflects a broader commitment to investing in education as a vital component of community development and empowerment in Nakanai.
The new facilities are anticipated to have a positive impact on both students and teachers, providing a conducive environment for learning and growth.
