Belden Namah sworn in among new Ministers

In a ceremony held today at the Government House, Port Moresby several new state ministers were sworn-in marking a significant mini reshuffle in the Cabinet.

The swearing-in ceremony, attended by dignitaries and government officials, saw the reappointment of experienced leaders alongside fresh faces to key ministerial positions.

Hon. Dr Kobby Bomareo, Tewai-Siassi MP has been reappointed to his former portfolio as Housing Minister, Hon. Belden Namah and MP for Vanimo-Green has been appointed as the new Minister for Culture and Tourism,

Hon Kinoka Feo and MP for Unggai- Bena takes on the role of Minister for Higher Education; Hon. Thomas Opa and MP for Kerema Open has been appointed as the Minister for Energy and will also serve as the caretaker minister for Petroleum and Hon. Miki Kaeok and MP for Wapenamanda Open is appointed as the new Minister for Finance.
