SPEAKER of Parliament Job Pomat presided over the swearing-in ceremony for the Members elect Anderson Mise (Aitape-Lumi) and Gidron Maso Karipe (Porgera-Paiela) today.

Mr Karipe and Mr Mise took their oaths of allegiance and declarations of office in a ceremony at the Parliament’s State Function Room.

The swearing-in ceremony was witnessed by Prime Minister James Marape, Clerk of Parliament Kala Aufa, Minister for State Enterprises William Duma.

Family members and supporters of the new MPS, as well as invited guests, attended the event.
