PANGU-PATI will be establishing coordinating center in the Lower- Highlands Region to secure seats in the next coming Election in 2027.
The Pati General Secretary Morris Tovebae took a recent trip up to Kundiawa, Simbu Province made the intention of the Pati known to the people.
Tovebae was accompanied by two Pangu Pati Members of Parliament namely, Francis Siune Kikin (Kerowagi MP), who is also the Vice Minister for Public Service and Gumine MP,Lucas Dawa Dekena who is Minister for Education.
“According to Political Party Calendar, it is time for preparing and organizing political parties.
“Simbu province has not only been selected as an ideal location to set Pangu Pati Coordinating Centre for Lower Highlands Region, rather the it has been once a Pangu Pati Province and we are here to revive it.
“PANGU Pati, seeks to empower leaders, and not politicians, because leaders deliver, and with the strong support system the community has in getting a leader elected, is vital as far as the policies of the party is concerned,” said Tovebae.
He said, the leadership quality of the two MPs is overwhelming, which took his attention, and with the blessing of the Party leader, Prime Minister James Marape , the Pati seek to endorse more leaders from the Lower Highlands.
Minster for Education, Dekena, reaffirm his belief in the Pati Policies, that seeks to involve people in the social and economic development of the country, which is the originating eight-point plan of the party during the party establishment.
Dekena acknowledged Tovebae for his wisdom and leadership in politics and assured that Simbu Province and Eastern End will fight for a Political Party that has delivered to Papua New Guinea since independence.
“With the leadership and the policies, we have witnessed so many tangible development and its palpable, especially in getting our resource back, 51-49 percent shares in our natural Resources.
“The Marape –Rosso government is addressing some core issues in the country by establishing the Independent Commission Against corruption (ICAC), Free Education and Early Childhood Learning, increase in police funding, separation of courts to establish court of appeal, the STEM program creating more opportunities at the tertiary institutions.
Connect PNG Program is opening up the country by connecting the unreached, the government is also ensuring that a student gets a maximum grade 12 qualification with proper incentives.
“SME to help our local people into micro business, roads to bring services, and we are yet to see more, to ensure that Papua New Guinea becomes the Richest Black Nation as Prime Minister James Marape alluded to,” said Dekena.
Kerowagi MP,Kikin reiterated Dekena saying that the policies of the Pangu party will enable leaders to modernize community , district and the country while maintaining our traditional values and belief system.
He said he is happy to see a work-in progress Pati to be established in his province as Cordinating Centre for the Lower Highlands.
Thousands who were there to witness, the ceremony, showed support, saying that it was the first time to witness such event, as it only occurs during election period.
Meanwhile, a road side market was opened in Kerowagi, and a commitment of seeing Angagoi primary School in Kerowagi, Upper Koraniga LLG to be elevated to Junior High school was made by minister Dekena.
