CHANCELLOR of University of Papua New Guinea, Robert Igara is adamant about adapting change into the society when speaking at the opening of the 2024 PNG Update at the University, in Port Moresby.
Mr. Igara encouraged Papua New Guineans to look to rise and take lead in driving forward new ideas and policies that could see new transformation in the struggling economy, the societies and the government.
“It is the sons of Papua New Guinea that will lead develop forward in this country,” Mr. Igara said.
“Go look at your family, start with your family start with your home.”
Mr. Igara expressed that Papua New Guineans must understand the purpose of the PNG Update and focus on translating the changes from insights and presentations brought forward.
He alluded to the five National goals and directive principles emphasizing the importance of economy and stable government, which the current citizens today should look into for better development.
