H.E. Grand Chief Sir Bob Bofeng Dadae GCL, GCMG, KStJ, Governor General of Papua New Guinea, today officiated the swearing-in ceremony of three judges that have been reappointed to the Supreme and National Courts of Justice.
The Judicial and Legal Services Commission has reappointed the following judges;
Justice Derek Richard Hartshorn as a Judge of the Supreme and National Courts of Justice for a period of three (3) years;
Justice Teresa Berrigan as a Judge of the Supreme and National Courts of Justice for a period of three (3) years; and,
Justice Anthony Kupmain as an Acting Judge of the National Court of Justice for a period of twelve (12) months.
The judges recited before the Governor General the oath of Declaration of Office, Declaration of Loyalty and Judicial Declaration.
Chief Justice Sir Gibuma Gibbs Salika was present at the swearing-in ceremony at Government House this morning.
