A community is built by future generation who are determined in furthering education and achieving goals in life that can be transformed to development of families and communities.
Children of Gombara in Oro Province, were encouraged during a community talk with university students of Papua New Guinea (UPNG ATSA).
The community talk based on education, focused on empowering youths and children to get their head straight by concentrating to securing a university studies or any formal education that can earn them success in their life.
Imelda Gubis who shared on Education importance expressed: “Children, you must create and establish your goals that can set you on path towards your dream.”
“Parents must also uphold their responsibility in family and support their children by ensuring their children are brought up well.
“The knowledge you gained through education can be utilise by educating other relatives and families that will help to change a live.”
She emphasize on virtue of perseverance and to never give up but keep on to their studies and education.
Imelda highlighted, there is potential in youth and children through education and community can count on them for positive improvement and infrastructure services.
“You can be a relief to your parents by helping to take on community objectives,” she said.
“Raise and contribute service delivery in your own village.”
