European Union has hosted and invited all the Papua New Guinean local coffee exporters to
attend the Copenhagen World Coffee expo in Denmark, Germany from 27th to 29th June, 2024.
Europe has a bigger market here, says Mr. Fred Koldop, owner and Managing Director of
Togoba Coffee. “This gives us the opportunity to directly encounter and sell our PNG coffee
at the European Market.”
European Union made it possible for the entire coffee exporting companies from PNG and
the coffee exporting countries around the world to show case their coffee in Europe.
Togoba Coffee, Nowek Coffee, Alpha Coffee, Colbrand Coffee and Banz Coffee exporters
were invited to attend and show case their various coffee products.
Mr. Fred Koldop, said Togoba Coffee team went a week earlier through Frankfurt, Berlin,
Hamburg where coffee roasters were organized before traveling to attend the Coffee Expo
in Demark.
“I am grateful with the European Union in organizing such an amazing event that gives us
the benefit to display PNG’s various Organic Coffee and opening up the market in Europe,”
said Mr. Koldop.
Mr. Koldop further stated that his team will travel to Sweden after the Expo ends on 29th June
before returning back to Papua New Guinea.
