The PRK Mendi Muruks have officially reinstated Andiki Andrew as the team’s Head Coach, effective immediately.
This move came in just in time for the finals as the PRK Mendi Muruks prepare to face the Lae Snax Tigers in the preliminary finals of Digicel ExxonMobil Cup.
Following a suspension period during which his conduct was closely monitored, Coach Andiki has been recognized for his unwavering loyalty and commitment to the team.
His professionalism and support for the Muruks during this time played a significant role in his reappointment.
“Andiki has shown exceptional loyalty to the team during his suspension, which has led to his reinstatement,” said Muruks CEO Kuns Boli.
“We believe his leadership will be crucial as we prepare for the finals.”
The change in leadership comes as the team offers its deepest condolences to Coach Roderick Puname, who stepped in as Head Coach during Andiki’s suspension.
Coach Puname recently lost his beloved mother, Mrs. Joanne Anna and has decided to take more time to be with his family during this difficult period.
“Roderick’s mother has passed on, and he needs more time to be with his family,” Boli added.
“We fully support his decision and extend our heartfelt sympathies to him and his family.”
With Coach Andiki’s return, the Southern Highlands Men who finished fifth from the normal round ladder are confident in their preparation and are looking forward to a strong performance in the finals.
