Goroka Lodge & Wild Club have launched the Kids Dart Competition 2026, a new community event designed to engage young people in a fun, structured, and family‑oriented sporting activity.

The competition, open exclusively to Goroka residents, targets youths aged 13 to 16 and introduces a unique team format requiring two boys, two girls and two adults as guardians.

Goroka Lodge & Wild Club Managing Director Warrick Wild said the structure is meant to strengthen family involvement and ensure a safe, supportive environment for all participants.

“Registration is set at K150 per team, and organizers expect strong interest from schools, settlements, and youth groups across Goroka. To support participation, transport will be provided after the games, ensuring all players return home safely,” Wild added.

Teams will undergo official confirmation on the 21st February 2026 from 1pm to 5pm and the first round of games will follow a week later on the 28 February 2026 from 1pm to 5pm.

At the end of the tournament, Wild said he aims to develop future talents by hosting a kids competition as a development pathway and a tool to help them stay disciplined and focused.
