HUNTERS forward, Junior Rop has passed the Head Injury Assessment (HIA), and he is looking forward for the home game against the Wynnum Manly Seagulls this Saturday.
In a media session yesterday, Rop said he had a concussion and could not complete the game last Saturday.
However, after following protocols he has passed the HIA and ready join his team mates for the final elimination round this Saturday.
Junior Rop expressed his excitement to play for the finals which is the big moment in his life.
“I have not been in the finals so this is the big moment in my life,” he said.
“I will not let the boys and the team down; I will try my best to give my best this weekend,” Rop said.
“The vibe is higher now, but we are trying not to get too comfortable with it.
“We are trying to control ourselves and focus on the daily routings to get ourselves right for the game.”
Rop will combine with Koso Bandi, Skipper Ila Alu and Anthory Worot for the upcoming home game showdown.
He will put his body in line and play with his heart as he eyes a new pathway to join a new club in French.
Meanwhile, Coach Aiton has confirmed that Junior Rop and Solo Wane had signed contracts with the Franch Elite one side, Baroudeurs De Pia XIII.
Both are expected to join the club next session (2025).
