SEAL Kalo has returned from his injury and is set to take the field as Hunters takes on the Burleigh Bears this Saturday at Santos National Football Stadium.

The formidable front rower suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury during a match against the Mackay Cutters which ended his season last year.

This year he also missed the previous Queensland (QLD) Hostplus cup competition rounds and played only two Digicel ExxonMobil cup games with his local franchise, Mendi Muruks.

“The two games that I played with the Muruks was just to give a taste of playing and see how I can play after being cleared to take the field,” he said.

Seal’s return will have an impact in the forward pack as he is ready to cause damage to the opponent’s defense.

In an interview, Seal said he is very happy to make his return after spending almost 11 months undergoing surgery and rehab.

He is looking forward to contribute to the team to have a win in front of the home crowds.

Seal thanked all who stood by his side during his injury – from Hunter managements, the team mates, his friends and families for the encouraging words and motivation to get back again into the field again.
