Kapuls duo arrive in Melbourne for State 5 Victorian football league

TWO PNG Kapuls players, Simon Emmanuel and Yagi Yasasa, have arrived safely in Melbourne to join their new team, Bendigo City FC.

Player agent and former PNG forward George Slefendorfas said, both players arrived in Melbourne and set to go straight into training with their new club to play their trade in the tough State 5 Victorian football league.

Part Lithuanian and Papua New Guinea, Slefendorfas, played for PNG national soccer team in 2014 and he is currently living in Brisbane, Australia.

Slefendorfas runs a player agent call @Playerpin_Management where they create pathways for young ambitious players who want to further their football career overseas.

“I know Emmanuel from the PNG National when I was playing for them. Yagi and I met when the PNG National team was playing and training in Brisbane,” he said.

“I currently run an agency called @Playerpin_Management where we create pathways for young ambitious players who want to further their careers overseas.”

He said he was very fortunate to play 11 years of semi pro.

“I want to give back and help those who are interested in challenging themselves,” he said.

Beside Australia, he has played in Sweden and New Zealand before retiring.

PNG Football Association is very excited about the news stating that such opportunity would greatly help our PNG players broaden their experience at the international front.
