The London Broncos have claimed another victory by defeating Oldham RLFC in the round two of the BetFred Championship in London.
The PNG Contingent with their team mates put up an exemplary performance once again in a 25 to 8 victory over the Oldham.
This marks their third straight win playing for the London Broncos – two victories in the BetFred Championships and one win in the Challenge Cup.
PNG’s international and London Broncos center Alex Max made his appearance known as he adds another try to his tally, bringing his total try to seven tries in just three games. Robert Matthias scores his second while Hooker Finley Glare registers his first try.
London Broncos Head Coach Jason Demetriou in a post-match interview said that the team did not get the rhythm that they expected but defensively the boys were so strong.
“Individually we need to take some ownership about the discipline. There are times that we are doing things that the team needs and there are times that we are self-fish by doing rubbish that does not help the team,” he said.
He said the team will work on the errors to become better and be prepared for the next game.
