Theodist Renews Sponsorship With PNGOC

THEODIST has been playing a significant role towards the development of a wide range of sporting codes in PNG for the last two decades.
As part of this journey, the Theodist Limited has presented K50, 000 cheque to the PNG Olympic Committee (PNGOC) on the 22nd of March, 2023.
The cheque presentation was made by delegates of Theodist Limited led by the Chief Executive Office, Kumar Baliah, Business Development Manager, Ryan Pini and National Sales and Marketing Manager, Kevin Anderson, General Secretary of PNGOC, Ovisa Rapilla and the Corporate Manager of PNGOC Mr. Denzii Agi were there to receive the cheque.
As part of their youth empowerment and rehabilitation programs, their continued sponsorship to the PNGOC over the years was constant both financially, as well as active participation especially in coaching, managing and officiating at international events.
With Theodist’s corporate business development manager and former PNG swimming sensation Ryan Pini as the Chef de mission to the Olympic Games at Paris in 2024, they renewed their sponsorship by presenting a K50,000 cheque to the PNGOC.
National sales and marketing officer Mr. Kevin Anderson said that, this prestigious annual sponsorship by Theodist is of a worthy cause and symbolizes their consistency in contribution towards building and promoting the development of sporting activities in the country by unifying young citizens through sports.
“We are proud to support the PNGOC’s great work in promoting the development of sports in PNG, which is why we are here again to renew our K50,000 annual sponsorship and we hope this sponsorship will help in building a peaceful and better world through the power of sports,” said Anderson.
PNGOC overwhelmingly extended their gratitude to the management and staff of Theodist Limited for the continuous support every year.
PNGOC General Secretary Mr. Auvita Rapilla verbally thanked Theodist for its ongoing commitment and gave assurance that the prime purpose and objective of this support will be achieved in due accord.
“We are indebted again for this value of support received today, as this goes a long way to helping us access stationary, printing and equipment to keep our programs, administration and fundraising events going,” said Rapilla.
Meanwhile, Theodist gave assurance in response that its management looks forward in continuing their partnership with the PNGOC as well as other institutions to support rehabilitative projects, programs and initiatives that are aimed at promoting excellence and equality in the country.
