THE National Airports Corporation (NAC) board stated that it has upheld the status quo regarding the appointment of Mr. Joseph Tupiri as the Acting Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NAC. The board has resolved to extend Mr. Tupiri’s appointment for a further three months from March 6th, 2023, to June 6th, 2023.
Furthermore, the statement clarified that the suspension of Mr. Rex Kiponge as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NAC will remain in effect until a further decision is made.
The board assured all stakeholders and the travelling public that there will be no disruptions to services at all 22 national airports.
