THE PNG Hunters have announced extension of another five-year naming rights vehicle deal sponsorship with WR Carpenters PNG group of companies.
On that note, WR Carpenters group of companies under its brand of Boroko Motors, Globe and National No. 1 presented three Nisan Navara 4X4 vehicles to Hunters to assist the team to drive out their 2023 Hostplus season campaign.
Hunters’ commercial manager Allan Moramoro said the five years deal is the longest deal since the establishment of the team.
“We are very proud to have WR Carpenters continuing to support PNG Hunters for the next five years. These fantastic vehicles will help the team move around during training and game day,” said Mr. Moramoro.
WR Carpenters have donated a total of nine vehicles so far to PNG Hunters and is hoping to continue after five years going forward.
Tony Barlow, the dealer principle of Boroko Motor (a subsidiary of WR Carpenters) said they are excited to be supporting PNG Hunters.
“We are excited that the partnership is underway. We (WR Carpenters) build our reputation on quality and customer delivery and we believe that this association with the football club is going to increase our reach into the market place and have more people aware of what these products are. Our relationship in rugby league goes backs to in time but we’ve supported the code at grassroots to the national level and we had a very strong relationship with the football club (Hunters),” said Mr. Barlow.
He added that there is no figure value to the partnership but the agreement and the support shows the value the two parties share.
The renewal of the partnership since the last one in 2021 before the COVID-19 outbreak will see the vehicle donated assist Hunters drive their campaign.
The campaign started yesterday with a home game against Brisbane Tigers.
