PUBLIC Servants Netball Association (PSNA) is glad to welcome the support of one more private sector this year.
Theodist stationery limited has supported the PSNBA with sporting equipment ranging from balls, shirts, pumps, netball nets and whistles for the empires.
PSNA president Maria Laka said, the assistance especially shirts will be given to mostly elderly women who volunteer themselves to take up the role for them to wear and officiate during grand final on the 29th of April, 2023.
“I would like to thank Theodist Limited for this sponsorship. Kit is timely because we will be having our grand finals,” Mrs Laka said.
“This sponsorship is for the 500 plus members of the PSNA. Such sponsorship has been lacking over the years and it is really a privilege and a blessing for the association to have this kind of support coming from the private sector.
“We need such sponsorship and we really acknowledge Theodist and the staff.”
Theoidst is the second private sector company following Namba Wan Super Limited who has made their sponsorship early last week.
Theodist cooperate customer adviser Velea Wavuri said, Theodist is one of the companies that do business with most government departments and they are glad to show their support to PSNA competition.
Meanwhile, PSNA started their knockouts yesterday, Saturday April 24, 2023 and will have their season 2023 this coming Saturday, April 28, 2023 at Rita Flynn complex in Port Moresby.
President Laka further thanked the support she has been receiving as the president of PSNA.
He said this partnership will end this year and encourages the new executives to carry the work forward.
“My encouragement would be to ensure that the constitution and the by-law are in order to have the best interest of PSNA because it protects or avoids so many conflicts for the smooth operation of the association.
“This involves the members to make sure the documents are in order. All the best to the new executives,” Laka concludes.
