Simbu’s great leader, late Sir Kobale Kale has been a unifier in the negation processes of attaining PNG’s independence, says Sinasina-Yongomul MP, Kerenga Kua.
The Minister for Energy and Petroleum and National Party Leader was the only Simbu MP representing the government in handing the body of late Sir Kobale Kale to the people of Sinasina in a State funeral services hosted by the Simbu Provincial Government in Kundiawa last Wednesday.
Kua said late Sir Kobale’s qualities of selflessness, discipline, steadfastness, focused, positivity, are attributes the new generation of leaders must acquire.
He said leadership qualities must be embedded in homes and schools for the new generational leaders to provide for the common needs of the people.
Kua also on behalf of the district thanked the provincial government under the leadership of Governor Noah Kool and provincial administrator John Punde for hosting the State funeral services of late Sir Kobale Kale at the provincial headquarters.
He said thanked the provincial government to endorse the renaming of Muaina Secondary School to Sir Kobale Kale Secondary School that would become into effect in 2024.
He said the decision was in a right footing that students in Sir Kobale Kale Secondary School would be taught leadership qualities and skills of endurance that would be displayed once the students leave the school.
Meanwhile, Simbu Deputy Governor Anton Kua thanked the people of Sinasina, Dinga, and the family of late Sir Kobale for giving Simbu and the country a shinning leader, though being faced with the greatest challenge in education, the leader’s perseverance and focus on his people resulted in greater achievements which no combined leaders in Simbu may do during this time.
