Rigo Rice gives K30,000 to Tubuserea Primary School

A locally grown Rigo Rice company has donated K30,000 towards the fundraising of a proposed six in one classroom for Tubuserea Primary School in the Motu Koitabu LLG yesterday.

The presentation of K30,000 was made by the Rigo rice team and managements together with North Lakes Estate management team with 100 bags of locally grown Rigo Rice. 

Rigo Rice team and the school board held up Rigo Rice bags as an appreciation to its contribution towards the school.

Rigo Rice Cup Chief Executive Officer McSteve Polly was thrilled to have made the donation as he believes education is the way forward for a prosperous future of the country.

Polly stated that Rigo Rice Managing Director Jeffery Kennedy is committed in making sure Rigo Rice gives back to the community for a worthy cause.

Rigo Rice team and the school board held up Rigo Rice bags as an appreciation to its contribution towards the school.

Mr. Polly said school is the place where illiterate individuals are nurtured for the future of this country, hence such projects deserved to be supported by all means.

Tubuserea Primary School spokesman Mr. Stanley Raka extended his heartfelt gratitude towards Rigo Rice acknowledging the rice company’s Managing Director Jeffery Kennedy and his group of companies for coming forward in showing their support.

The proposed six in one classroom will cost about K500 thousand and chairman is pleased to have the support from the office of MP for Hiri Koiari, Hiri Local level government, Hiri Special Purpose Authority including the old student of Tubuserea Primary School and members of the community.
