JUVENILES serving their terms at Erap Juvenile Centre in Huon Gulf District, Morobe see there are ways of getting out of their alleged crimes charged.
As the sun rises over the scenic juvenile Centre, it illuminates the bright smiles on the faces of the students at Erap Scared Juvenile Primary School.
The young juveniles are part of a program that has transformed their lives and given them a newfound hope for a brighter future.
The program is none other than the Inclusive Impact Rugby Program (IIRP). The IIRP is a unique initiative that focuses on using the sport of rugby to instill five key values in young individuals: integrity, respect, solidarity, discipline, and passion. The results have been nothing short of remarkable, especially for the students at Erap Scared Juvenile Primary School.
For these young boys, life has not always been easy. Poverty, family issues, and lack of opportunities were all challenges they faced on a daily basis. But the IIRP has given them a new path forward, one that is filled with hope and opportunities.
With the help of volunteers and coaches from the local community, the students have not only learned how to play rugby, but they have also been given the tools to become better individuals. Through the sport, they have learned the importance of integrity and always doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. They have been taught to respect themselves, their teammates, and their opponents. They have experienced firsthand the power of standing in solidarity with one another and working towards a common goal. Most importantly, they have learned the discipline and passion it takes to succeed both on and off the field.
The impact of the IIRP has been far-reaching for these young boys and girls. Not only have they gained valuable life skills, but they have also become more confident, determined, and motivated individuals. They now have dreams and aspirations for the future, something they never thought possible before.
But the impact of the IIRP goes beyond just changing the lives of these students. It has also had a positive effect on the entire community.
The students have become role models for their peers, and their newfound values and attitudes have spread to those around them. The community has come together in support of the program, creating a sense of unity and pride.
It’s heartwarming to see the transformation of these young juveniles. They have gone from feeling scared and hopeless to embracing a new future filled with endless possibilities.
It’s all thanks to the Inclusive Impact Rugby Program and the five key values it has instilled in them.
As the program continues to grow and reach more schools and communities, it is clear that it is making a significant impact. The young boys and girls at Erap Scared Juvenile Primary School may have started their journey with fear, but now they walk with confidence and determination, ready to take on whatever life throws their way.
In a world where negative news dominates the headlines, it’s heartening to see a program like the IIRP, making a positive difference in the lives of young individuals. These juveniles at Erap Scared Juvenile Primary School have found a new path forward, and it’s all thanks to the power of rugby and the five key values they have learned.
