Minister for Higher Education, Science, Research & Technology, Kinoka Hotune Feo, has urged teachers to teach with passion and not just to earn their pay.
“Teachers you must teach with passion and not for the salary but for the soul of a nation,” Minister Feo said.
“A plan cannot raise a nation, when we together as the government, teachers, churches, parents, private sectors, students and development partners, only then we rise and implement this plan, then it becomes life and light to this country.
“Parents must value their child’s education more than pride and price, more than haus krai, more than feast and more than temporary pleasures of this earth,” he said.
Mr Feo also urged leaders to deliver services and for donor partners to “work with us, not ahead of us”.
