Stout Lawyers has proudly sponsored the University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG) School of Law Brothers Club, presenting a new set of jerseys to the team last Friday ahead of their highly anticipated grand final appearance in the UPNG Rugby League Competition.

Principal Lawyer and founder of Stout Lawyers, Tabe Jugari, said the support was a personal way of giving back to a club that had played a significant role in his life.

“The SOL Brothers Club has given me so much- loyal friendships, cherished memories, and a strong sense of community,” Mr Jugari said during the presentation. “It is a privilege for me and for Stout Lawyers to give back.”

He added that Stout Lawyers, built on the principle of Helping People and Businesses Through Law, is committed not only to legal practice but also to mentoring and supporting young people.

“We’re proud to support and encourage the next generation of leaders and legal professionals. On behalf of Stout Lawyers, I wish the UPNG SOL Brothers every success this season,” he said.

Club President Mon Surai welcomed the timely sponsorship, noting that the new jerseys had boosted the team’s morale as they prepare for the grand final.

“As president I would like to thank Stout Lawyers for the generous support. This sponsorship means a lot to the team as we gear up for the big game,” Mr. Surai said.

The SOL Brothers secured their grand final berth after defeating the Spartans on Saturday and the Waghi Hawks on Sunday in back-to-back matches. They will now take on the West Eagles, a side equally known for its high energy and intensity on the field.

Both teams are known for their high energy and competitive spirit, making this season’s grand final one of the must-watch games in the UPNG Rugby League Competition.

Dates set for the grand final is said to be released soon.
