PNG Gardener on Monday, donated K90,000 to the Pacific Adventist University as part of its contribution to the PNG Gardener Education Fund.
The fund will assist high performing PAU students who cannot afford to pay for their outstanding tuition fees.
The PNG Gardener Education Fund was set up 10 years ago in partnership with the PAU and PNG Gardener to help University students especially those that cannot pay for their outstanding school fees.
This enables the students to continue their studies and graduate.
PNG Gardener will contribute K50,000 every year to the scholarship fund to ensure hard working students that come short of paying their fees will be guaranteed of their school fees.
The funds will be administrated by the management and staff of PAU.
This will be an annual contribution where every year PNG Gardener will assist with funding worthy students in need.
PAU will select those hardworking Papua New Guineans that show that they are worthy of their school fees being paid off so they can graduate and get their certificates, diplomas, and degrees.
“We are very proud to partner with PAU to ensure those students that are unable to pay their school fees, have the opportunity now to graduate.”
“I want to thank the Vice Chancellor and all the management and staff of PAU for coming on board with PNG Gardener for this scholarship fund to help our worthy Papua New Guinean students in their plight to be educated at the highest level,” PNG Gardener official says.
