SP Brewery backs Mask Festival with K10,000

SOUTH Pacific Brewery has committed K10 000 to the  committees of the upcoming 29th  National Mask and Warwagira Festival that will be staged at Kalabond Sports Field in Kokopo,East New Britain Province.

This  reaffirmed it’s commitment to celebrating and preserving Papua New Guinea’s rich cultural heritage by supporting the National Mask and Warwagira Festival Committee with  such donations towards the event’s preparations.

The National Mask and Warwagira Festival will be ,featuring a lineup of cultural dances performances and arts-and-crafts exhibitions.The festival will highlight the region’s unique mask traditions,including the iconic dawn Kinavai canoe ceremony and the exhilarating Baining Fire Dance.

SP Brewery Sales Manager NGI,Bagelo Babaga,expressed the company’s delight in supporting this cultural celebration and partnering with the festival organizers.

SP Brewery will be  present at the festival from 8th-10th July 2026,with a booth promoting its Join the Generation of Change campaign.

The campaign reinforces the company’s commitment to responsible consumption and promoting respect within communities.Festival goers aged 18+are invited to visit the booth to learn more, engage with the SP Brewery staff on-ground,and make a pledge to be part of the generation of change.
