Cricket PNG has announced the PNG Lewas squad selected to represent Papua New Guinea in the upcoming Thailand Women’s Tour of PNG 2026 at Amini Park, Port Moresby.
The five-match international series will feature two T20 International (T20I) matches followed by three 50-over matches, providing the Lewas with an important opportunity to compete against Thailand on home soil.
The series gets underway on Monday, 10 August, with the first T20I scheduled for an 11am start at Amini Park.
The second T20I will be played on Tuesday, 11 August, before the teams move into the 50-over series on Thursday, 13 August.

This international series will be a tough competition as Thailand is ranked number 11 and PNG ranked 12 in the world for the Women’s T20 overs. Last year PNG beat the Thailand women in their home groud. This year the world will witness a historical match between this two tough teams.
The series forms part of Cricket PNG’s continued commitment to providing high-level international cricket opportunities for the PNG Lewas and strengthening women’s cricket in PNG.
With all five matches scheduled to be played at Amini Park, local cricket fans will have the opportunity to watch international women’s cricket live and support the Lewas on home soil.
