PNG journalist recognised for fighting corruption

THE Sunday Bulletin congratulates Senior Journalist Simon Eroro as the recipient of the Honors Award, awarded by the Non-Resident Nepal Association through the National Coordination Council, PNG.

This award is in recognition of Eroro’s efforts in fighting corruption in the country and comes as a gesture from the Nepalese Government and it’s the first by any Journalist in Papua New Guinea. Mr Eroro also received a Certificate of Appreciation signed by the Nepalese Ambassador to Australia.

Managing Editor Tereni Kens in acknowledging Mr Eroro said it makes it special in our profession as journalists and more importantly for you among many other journalists in our country and especially in your efforts in fighting corruption has being recognized by a country where the highest mountain (Mt Everest) in the world is found.
