  1. Can we have Hon Kessy Sawang be given any ministry portfolio as she is the only female representative who is over qualified to be handle any ministerial portfolios..

  2. Can we have Hon Kessy Sawang be given any ministry portfolio as she is the only female representative who is over qualified to handle any ministerial portfolios..

    • I totally agree with Alfred’s recommendation for Kessy Sawang to be given a ministerial portfolia.

If a ministry of Women’s Affairs can be created, she would best suit it.

    • Oil palm and coffee comes under agriculture, lets make it fair and create minister for cocoa, copra and vanilla. It seems like everyone wants to become minister so lets make it fair.

  3. Police Minister should be given Hon Member for Goilala as been the very experienced former Police Officer.

  4. Environment, Conservation & Climate Change Minister should be given to Mugua Dilu because he was the Managing Director at that time. He resigned to contest the seat he won.

  5. Few ministries are distributed on merits whilst many are not. Why Marape has allocated ministry portfolios to MPs who are not highly educated? Looking after a ministry is not about looking after Tucker shop and giving customers correct change. We dealing with the affairs of the country so highly educated people should be in those portfolios. Comparatively, opposite has happened here. Some highly educated MPs in the government circus are not rewarded with ministries. And also, our first term MP were denied Ministry portfolios also. This is bad! They should be given opportunities. Many of the vampires who sucked the live blood of this country during the O’Neil government are still in this cabinet. No change has happened. Expect a disintergration anytime soon and a VoNC is imminent unless a cabinet reshuffle is done immediately

  6. What is the reasons for creating two new portfolio?Coffee and Oil Palm portfolio doesn’t make sense at all. It should be under Commerce and Industry.

  7. What the heck are Ministers for Coffee and Oil Palm & Agriculture? Extra Ministries for the Boyz. Anyway, as long as they do a good job and don’t go corrupt. Secondly, William Duma is still going for State Owned Enterprise so Ombudsman and Law Enforcing Agencies should keep a close watch on him. Because once corrupted, always going to corrupt again.

  8. Thankyou Marape Rosso government for having faith in the newly elected member for Huon by allocating him the Youth,Religion and Community Development Portfolio. Its an historic appointment representing the silent majority of the Huon People. For the first time in 10 years a Portfolio was given to Huon Huon Gulf MP.Cheers .Wallie Ottie, Lae

  9. Na ol Sepik m ol leading cocoa na vanilla producing province lo country so i mas gat.
    1) minister blo cocoa
    2) minister blo vanilla

  10. Need to create new minister for Women alone,
mothers are always complains for women resave seat for women so now need to create a women minister so any woman elected into parliament, she will be the in charge of women Papua New Guinea, Any complain from mothers and girls around the country, minister will be the responsible of it. So Now Apoint Kessy Sawang as Minister for Women.

  11. Here we have a minister for Livestock, minister for Oil Palm and Minister for Coffee. Then we also have a Minister for Agriculture, so what does the ministry of Agriculture cover? Then we should also have ministry portfolios for Cocoa, Copra, Vanilla with other commodities including Betel nut because this is unfair for Provinces and stake holders that grow & produce other commodities.

Besides these, who are the ministers for Police & CIS? Totally confusing, isn’t it? Here we are seeing ministerial portfolios given to some members of parliament who are totally illiterate. If they can’t write a complete sentence in good English or even spell their own names, how can they run a Country?? We are in the 21st Century, we do not even need translators, this is kidding. We’re a laughing stock.

  12. GREAT SUGGESTION FOR PM MARAPE TO CONSIDER – LEAVING NO ONE BEHIND IN MULTI-HAZARD RESEARCH 7 MONITORING AND DISASTER RISK MANAGEMENT SERVICES.

THE RESPECTED PM AND HIS MINISTERS TO CONSIDER MERGING THE (1) PNG NWS, (2) CEP (3) GEOHAZRDS MANAGEMENT (RVO, PGO & ENGINEERING) AND (4) NATIONAL DISASTER RISK MANAGEMENT CENTRE (NDRMC) INTO ONE NEW ENTITY AND APPOINT A LEADER WHO IS WITH PROACTIVE AND STRTAEGIC MIND TO HELP ADVANCE THESE FORGOTTEN TCHNICAL AGENCIES TO ANOTHER LEVEL.
