Papua New Guinea’s largest stationary company, Theodist today donated K25,000 to the Cheshire Homes to help the disable children with their stationary needs.

This is part of the Theodist business model to positively impact the communities in which we live and conduct our business, says Theodist’s Business Development Manager, Ryan Pini.

“This is why Theodist is pleased to announce our support towards Cheshire disAbility Services through the presentation of K25, 000.00.

“Our organization is happy to give back to the community, Cheshire disable services rely on the government for funding but we as the companies are obliged to help the needy.

“We are very proud to donate to the needy which is something big and valuable for us and we are ready to help, we hope that everyone that have been taken care of are doing well and hopefully more children in the future will benefit from this donations,” Mr Pini said.

Kevin Buckby, Board Member of Cheshire disAbility Services thanked Theodist for the support given in the past few years.

“We may not notice it but the funding given by the government is very small and can’t cater for the disables and the day to day running of Cheshire home and its services. In Cheshire, we have over 600 active cases within Port Moresby out of a database of 40, 000 cases. We also don’t have enough rooms for the disables that come in for help.

“Because we were short of funding we couldn’t take in more of the disables and by the generosity of companies like Theodist, Cheshire manages to open its doors and provide service to the PNG disables. We are so thankful for Theodist Limited,” Mr Buckby reiterated.
