THE popular local SME products of ‘Doris Neem Oil’ has, recently gone under much speculation.
The speculation about the authenticity of the product had been going viral on social media in the last few days.
The packaging of the best-selling product that is demanded all over the country, has come under scrutiny by a customer when she questioned why the product had been sold in a used bottle of the ‘Olive Oil For hair growth’.
When asked for comments, self-proclaimed beautician and local entrepreneur Doris Joe, mentioned that everything has been cleared.
Joe thanked the customer and responded citing the challenges she faces.
“As a newly established oil producer, we had to go through the hustle of finding the right container to fill and resell the oil to meet the growing demand,” she said.
“Hence we are using the Olive Oil used containers for the packaging since that was the Neem base.”
She reassured her customers that the customized containers will arrive soon.
