Community Health Worker Elijah Lofulo, providing an update via Starlink internet this week, confirmed 572 outpatients and three inpatients had received treatment.

While 20 pregnant women and 112 children vaccinated and provided family planning services to 12 mothers.

No deliveries have been conducted at the facility so far.

Last month alone, 72 children and 10 pregnant mothers received vaccinations that would otherwise have required a five-day walk to Kwikila Health Centre.

Mr Lofulo said many children aged five years and under received vaccinations for the first time since birth.

Mr Gamgee said , the vaccination program was a major step forward in saving children’s lives and improving basic health services for remote villages.

“To create a better future for children, we must improve health services so that they can grow up healthy and attend school,” he said.
