Moni Plus Ltd has sponsored T-shirts for the Port Moresby General Hospital (PMGH) media team and doctors to commemorate World Press Freedom Day during the free medical checks for media personnel tomorrow, May 29, 2026.
Moni Plus Sales Support Manager Bernard Mambote said the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility program is built on a simple but powerful principle — giving back to the community it serves.
He said the company remains committed to supporting its business partners and assisting individuals and institutions that rely on its services.
“Our partnership with PMGH reflects this commitment.
“PMGH is a vital institution that plays a critical role in safeguarding the health and wellbeing of every Papua New Guinean.
“By supporting the hospital, we are standing with those who dedicate their lives to caring for our people every day,” Mr Mambote said.
Mr Mambote emphasized that the collaboration also highlights the strong business relationship between Moni Plus and PMGH, one built on trust, mutual respect, and shared values.
He said today’s presentation of T-shirts symbolises more than sponsorship; it represents unity, appreciation, and genuine care for the community.
“The assistance provided through this partnership strengthens the connection between our two organisations and contributes to the hospital’s ongoing efforts to deliver essential healthcare services.
“We are proud to play a small but meaningful role in supporting this important work,” he said.
PMGH Ear, Nose and Throat Clinical Coordinator Dr Osiact Baining acknowledged Moni Plus Ltd for being a major sponsor over the past five to ten years.
Dr Baining said healthy communities and healthy people are essential for a productive economy in the country.
“That is why your support, sponsorship, and assistance mean a lot to the health sector,” Dr Baining said.
